Matt Brown, DO, MBA

Board-certified in adult and child & adolescent psychiatry. OCD and anxiety care with medication, dynamic therapy, and lifestyle support.
Dr. Matthew Brown

Dr. Matt Brown is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. OCD makes up 70% or more of his practice. People often come for OCD and anxiety — including when they already understand skills like ERP and still feel stuck — and for help when high drive does not translate into sitting down and doing the next step.

Care combines medication when it helps, dynamic talk therapy (not refill-only visits for everyone), and whole-person support: sleep, diet, exercise, relationships, and supplements. The aim is the least medication that still keeps you well.

He does not provide ERP himself. He collaborates with many ERP therapists so exposure work, medication, and deeper therapy can stay aligned.

Approach

  • Medication when it helps — aiming for the least that still keeps you well
  • Dynamic psychotherapy when that is a good fit
  • Sleep, nutrition, movement, relationships, and supplement guidance
  • Coordination with your ERP or other therapist when you have one

Over 12 years as a psychiatrist and more than 20 years in mental health. Board certified by ABPN in Psychiatry and in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and by NBPAS. He previously worked as a psychiatrist at Rogers Behavioral Health.
